Glad to be back!

It's been over a decade since I visited  my blog. So much has happened since my last post. Currently our society is in the middle of a very serious pandemic called Covid-19.  My husband and I been proactive in staying safe and healthy. This  experience has caused me to reexamine who I am and where I want to focus my life from here to the future. There is so much to share.  Since  my last post I've written three solo shows and one play with Cynthia Maddox, an actress in Chicago.  The play is called "BFF" (best friends for ever) It was produced, written, designed by Cynthia & I.  It was a comedy that we performed to a sold-out audience of 400 patrons. Several months later I moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I've been in Texas for five years and continue to audition, sing, write and create art. My first year in Texas, I auditioned and performed in  the Texas Senior Follies Show.  The following year I was asked to join a group called "The Evening Stars" Prior to joining I had never tapped, but took a few classes.  I was invited to the group because I was seen on stage with the follies production, singing. After demonstrating a little knowledge about tap and taking intense training from Joseph, the director/ choreographer of the group, I was asked to perform on stage with them. We performed at senior centers, churches and private events.
